Expected Behaviour
Throughout your participation in SAIGE activities, you agree to:
Respect the personal and professional boundaries of all mentees, mentors, and staff.
Maintain the confidentiality of other participants and any sensitive project details shared within the program.
Look out for one another and proactively foster an inclusive environment.
Respect communication boundaries.
Unacceptable Behaviour
These behaviors do not belong at SAIGE and will not be tolerated:
Offensive, discriminatory, or disruptive actions and communication.
Bullying, threatening, or intimidation.
Sexual harassment of any kind, including unwelcome sexual attention, inappropriate contact, or leveraging professional power dynamics for personal/romantic pursuits.
Participating in meetings or SAIGE activities under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs. (Note: This policy does not prohibit the lawful use of prescribed medications).
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.
Resolution & Communication
We understand that human interaction is complex and that miscommunications happen. Whenever possible and safe, please give each other the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to explain behavior you find unwelcome. However, if you are asked to stop a behavior that is causing a problem, you are expected to comply immediately.
Reporting & Our Commitment
If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately by either sending us a direct email info@safeaigermany.org or submit a report anonymously using the following form.
We will investigate all incidents reported at an event with discretion and will respond as needed, including removing participants if necessary.
